thats the only place I know of in melbourne that has pay what you think ...

Go to the Ice bar on russell street .. nice place

check out all the cool music venues like: the espy, the corner, arthouse, spanish club, pony bar, ding dong, cherry bar, the toff ... oh to many to mention!!

check out the croft bar .. if you can find it!!

just wander the streets of melbourne there is so much to be found, and so many amazing places to eat!!

  4. Hey i just saw that episode as well!

the restaurant was called Lentil as Anything and there are three of these restaurants. The one they went to on the show is in St. Kilda.

The secret bar is St. Jeromes. i don't know where the bar is though but i know there is a St. Jeromes laneway in Melbourne so maybe it's there!??

and finally the street art is all through the laneways of melbourne. right opposite from federation square perpendicular to flinders street is some really great street art including a work by French graffiti artist Fafi as well as a whole laneway completely covered in graffiti, even the bins and doors are covered. there's heaps more street art in the streets of Fitzroy as well which is just a bit north of Melbourne. they didn't mention it in the show but in pesgraves pl. (behind capitol theatre) you can find australia's smallest art gallery and a great coffee shop, Pushka cafe. it's a bit of a search to find it but that's part of the fun! I'm from Sydney but have visited Melbourne too many times now because i love it there. Hope you enjoy visiting melbourne as much as i do!
