  1. San Vicente de la Barquera is a cute little town in Cantabria.  It is on the Cantabric Sea and right next to the Picos de Europa mountains. You can see mountain peaks from the beach!  But as far as warm.......(you mean swimsuit weather?) that might be hard anywhere on the mainland peninsula. If you want swimsuit weather, you might have to look at the Canary Islands - they have mountains too.

  2. Granada is in the south, not far to sea, and mountains.

    (March isn´t hot here)

    Enjoy!

  3. I live in the mountains near Málaga. The weather in March is difficult to forecast. If you get a good week it will be very warm & you have good chance of getting fine weather.

East of Málaga is a beautiful town by the sea called Nerja. It is my favourite town along this coast. Behind Nerja and in the mountains is a beautiful pueblo blanco (white village). It is reckoned to be the prettiest village in Andalucia. Nerja is surrounded by mountains. The beaches are cove like and it still retains the feel of an old Spanish town.

  4. Oh, don't go to stay in Málaga, but Málaga region, or further North...near Alicante, up, actually, anywhere to France would surely be nice.  There are mountains on the islands as well.

I would suggest Málaga area, because I know it better, personally, and then take a day or two in Granada, and one in Ronda, as well.

    ¡Buen Viaje!
