Where was Levi before the news broke???

Why is it now that the news broke Levi is right by Palin's daughter side...he wasn't there before the news hit the fan...Like when she was hiding her belly with the blanket and baby!...where's the blanket and why is it now that the younger sister carry him???

Poor Levi was biting his nails and hiding under a blanket in his bedroom hoping it was all a nightmare.
