Where was World War 2? Like where exactly?

i know your probably thinking I'm really dumb for not knowing but I can't find the exact location anywhere on the net.

  1. WORLD War.... just take a guess...


  2. Started in Poland- place known as "westerplatte" in the town of Gdansk (Dantzig)

    ended in two places- Berlin and Tokyo bay

    In between it raged literaly all over the world- from Normandy in France to the coasts of Madagascar and from the ice floes around Murmansk to the beaches of Australia

  3. Every continent - even North America. There was some shelling of a power station in California.

    In Europe the was was from the Pyrenees to the River Volga, from Norway to Malta.

    In Asia, from Japan to China, from Burma to Indonesia.

    In Australia, Darwin was hit by an air-raid, and many thousands of Australians fought.

    In South America - there was a naval battle - the Battle of the River Plate

    In Africa - The British fought the Italians & Germans across North Africa - and there were battles between Germany and Britain in some of the more southerly colonies.

    The only Continent not affectted in any way was Antarctica

    Yes - all of those places in 1942
