  1. most were taken from western coastal countries and Jamacians are former slaves.

  2. Slavers went down the west coast of Africa adjacent to the Gulf of Guinea, bringing rum, brandy, glass, cloths, beads, and guns to bargain with African traders for captives that they kept waiting the "middle passage" in slave barracks.  According to UNESCO, the areas most involved in the slave trade were those now known as Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Ghana, Guinea, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, and Togo, although many slaves were captured in the African interior.

Once slaves reached the New World, they were first off-loaded in the Sugar Islands of the Caribbean (Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Haiti, San Domingo, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Barbados) in exchange for raw molasses.  The slaves who made it to Colonial America were traded for cash or goods in either Charleston, South Carolina, or Boston Massachusetts.  From these ports traveled the raw products produced by slavery in the Americas--sugar, tobacco, and cotton.  All were headed for England where the cotton was spun into cloth at the start of the Industrial Revolution.  This whole process cas called the "triangular trade".

  3. They were mostly shipped from the "Slave Coast", which is sort of where Ghana, Togo and Benin are now. They may have been born as much as a thousand miles from the slave coast. They were kidnapped or captured in war and forced to walk to the great slave trading centers in caravans.

A slave born of African parents in Jamaica (Cuba, Barbados or anywhere in the Caribbean) could be sold in the USA. I don't know if that is what you meant.

  4. i think Kenya because you can hire someone to be your maid or servant in Kenya.
