  3. The medals were struck at the Shanghai Mint of the China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation.  The gold, silver and copper were obtained from the BHP Billiton in Australia.

  5. well i watched a Chinese documentary about the medals for this olympics...the ores are from some european country, germany or something?i forgot, but the jade is mined in some southern part of china. and they were combined there.
