I was getting ready for school particularly wearing my uniform when my parents called me to watch TV. The time I first looked at the TV, the 2nd plane crashed.

  1. Sadly, I was looking for an excuse to skip my next class. Unfortunatley, I got out of the class because all of our classes were suddenly cancelled due to what was going on. I never took for granted being able to go to a class again.

  2. I was on the West Side Highway and heard the first plane hit

  3. I was a DJ on a public radio station doing a morning show.  It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do... trying to stay calm while watching the TV and announcing it all to the public.

  4. I was in cosmetology school. Most of the day was a big blur, but I do remember it was a beautiful sunny day and I thought it was very strange seeing how something so horrible happened. I still get sick to my stomach when I think about that day.

  5. I was 21 and in my 4th year of college. I was at work on campus that morning at Friendly's (the Resturant, we had one on campus). The phone rang about 8:55AM and one of the employees answered it. I remember her hanging up the phone and going into the break room area. After about a minute she came into the kitchen and told the 4 cooks (including myself) to check out the TV. We stood there for a few minutes trying to figure out how something could have hit the WTC north tower. It was a beautiful clear day in NYC with no clouds in the sky. Then we watched as United Airlines Flight 175 crash into the south tower. The 5 of us stood there in disbelief. Right away you could tell it was deliberate. I will never forget the chill that hit me watching that live. I can remember all the people who were standing with me that morning and watched it unfold.

One of the other memories I have as a result of 9/11 was a few days later playing a intramural football game and hearing this loud deafing noise approaching us. After about a minute a flight of 12 Apache Helicopters appeared flying North East over the college. No idea where they where going except Fort Drum in Upsate NY and I was in the Southern Tier portion of the state.

  6. I was in the car on my way to work.  I just changed the radio to a station that was know for pulling practical jokes when they announced the first plane hitting the building.  I thought it had to be some kind of joke.  Then I got to work and everyone was in front of the TV.  It was pretty weird...I worked in a nursing home and there were residents there that were alive when Pearl Harbor got bombed...they said this was a worse feeling than that.

  7. I was working for a tree service and after the day was over I watched the TV to see the happenings

  8. I was just coming off break at work. Everyone was huddled about the few computers that had Internet.  I heard someone say a plane hit. i thought oh a two seater was off course, too bad they'll probably die (pilot and passenger). Then i heard it was a commercial jet, i started yelling which airline?? my sister is a flight attendant.  she was flying that day, she got stranded in Canada, had to rent a car to get home. that was a relief. at work the Boss was yelling for us to go back to our desks and work, no one could. All the managers were called into her office for an emergency meeting. when the second one hit and we heard about the pentagon and rumors of more. we all thought out loud We are at war, we have been attacked!!! with the exception of one woman who kept saying no it is just an accident we can't be at war! I learned later her oldest son had just enlisted. After work i went to church lite candles and prayed.

  9. i was across the river in Newark , NJ. watching it all happen

  10. I was in the school Library when I heard the news. Our teacher had already had the TV on watching it and i remember when the second plane hit the tower and the shock from Matt Laure and Katie Couric trying to hold their composure. Then we had a fire drill that day which was a little strange but everything that day was strange. Even ESPN had full coverage that day. Very sad sad day.

  11. In my office, working with the television on.

Thank you for asking the question.  Some people might accuse you of asking the question to promote fear.  You know … keep people afraid by putting their minds back to that tragic day.

For me, it does the opposite, so I very much appreciated the question.  It reminds me of how gullible I once was to accept the official fairy tale known as the 9/11 Commission report.  I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I fell for it too.  Thank goodness that myself and many millions of Americans are now awake.  That awakening is what will prevent it from happening again.

Now, I'm just angry that the criminal elements inside the government have so far eluded justice.  Either they looked the other way, or they were involved.  Either way, they are guilty and must be held accountable.

  12. I was at home getting ready for work.  The t.v. was on and I just kept walking right by it not aware of the situation.  Finally, I noticed a breaking bulletin and I sat down to watch it.  I was shocked.

I had to go ahead and drive to work but I kept watching the sky.  It was terrifying.  At work my boss had a t.v. set up and we just watched t.v. all day.  I remember people lining up at the gas station across the street.  The lines for gas were out into the street.  Everyone was in panic mode.

I called my fiance, he was in Canada.  He was in the Canadian military and had spent the entire day at the airport in Edmonton helping with security and all the uS bound planes that had to be diverted.

    It was a terrible day.

  13. I was ion the fourth grade in my gifted math class. My teacher was going to show us a video on shapes and i remember thinking how elementry the video sounded (ironic because i was in elementery school). She went to turn on the T.V. and all i saw was One standing building, Another with smoke coming out of it, and one plane flying dangerously close. My teacher quickly turned off the tv and just stood silenced. Then the principal came on the P.A. and asked for every teacher to turn and keep their T.V.'s off. My teacher began to cry and within the next thirty minutes everyone in my class except for me was pulled out. She turned back on the T.V. and we watched two buildings covered in smoke turn into rubble. I was too young to fully comprehend what had happened untill a year later

  14. I was getting ready for work - I'd just gotten out of the shower, watching the news, and thought: "Wow, what movie is this?"  And then the second plane hit, and reality hit, and I sat stunned on my bed.  After finally getting clothes on and heading to work, I got in a fight with the owner of the company, who was all, "Everyone back to work!"  which I thought was rude and insensitive - really, who in the US was doing business at that time, aside from the rescue workers in NYC? (Not to mention, the company was one that did web sites - seriously - not like we had urgent business to resolve - thinking about it still irritates me.)

  15. I was at a trade show in the North of England. Somebody came up to me and asked, "Isn't it terrible?", and I thought she was joking and referring to the trade delegation from Ghana. I remember smiling, and saying, "Yes it is". She went off crying and I wondered if she was mental. I've regretted that moment and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Then of course, all the monitors came up and I saw the burning tower, later to become two. I was too stunned to know what to think until many days later, but as the incredibly detailed information of the group responsible came up on the news within minutes of the attack, my suspicions were aroused about who was responsible. False flag. I don't think I ever mentioned it to anyone for several years, but I was sickened by interviews of the happy faces of Israelis in Tel Aviv and New York who, whilst sympathizing, said that they were glad now that America knew what it felt like.

Of course now we know that the only people who were dancing with joy on 9/11 were the Israelis who were arrested by the NYPD and later mysteriously released, as well as the Israeli citizens who received instant messages via Odigo hours before the attack to get out of the WTC area.

I still boil over with anger at the loss of life on that day, and I can't understand why the criminals who caused this have not been brought to justice. - Saudis, Bin Ladens, Bush & the neo-cons, Mossad - if I were an American, I would lock them ALL up in a dark hole, just to be sure. But quite the opposite has actually happened hasn't it? They've all benefited from this tragedy in one way or the other and a whole lot more innocent people have been killed instead.
