  1. Brew Crew

  2. CC WILL BE: A YANKEE! YAHOO!!

  3. Probably to his home in California for a little R and R.

  4. While it would be nice if he did i don't think it will happen. He will either be a Yankee or a Red sox.

  5. I do not know where you people are getting your info from but the Brewers do in fact have enought money to keep CC.  If they want to keep Sheets and CC that is where the problem is.  Look at some salaries right now for the Brewes.  Gagne 10 mil, Cameron 10 mil, and Kendall 5 mil, 3 people that will not be on the team next year.  The Brewers have more money than people think.  Who knows CC might not even like it in Milwaukee, but Milwaukee loves CC.

  6. yankees, mets, red sox teams with money

  7. The yankees let Johan Santana go by them, and Hank is pissed about it.  CC will be a Yankee next year.  Hank will offer him something ridiculous as soon as he is allowed to so no other team(boston) can get him.

  8. Depends on what kind of person he is.

If he's smart and realizes that if he gets $15 mil a year or $22 mil a year, it really won't make much difference in his life, then he may stay with a small team and be the top dog.

Or, if he really only cares about his payday, he can go to the BIG market teams, stand in line behind the other 5 to 10 15-20 mill dollar players and get booed when he only goes 3 innings in a start for the first time.

  9. Well first of all, he won't be in Cleveland next year, they offered him a long term deal at the beginning of this year and he turned it down. They interviewed him on PTI the other day about his non no hitter and they asked him what his future holds. He said that he hopes the Brewers make the playoffs, win the world series and hopefully he can come back as a Brewer next year. So, I guess you never know, seems like CC really just wants to win and no offense but he's not going to do that with the Yankees, Dodgers or Giants, so we will have to wait and see.

  10. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see him return to Cleveland. He loved it there, and they may get a break on what would otherwise be a huge money commitment. They traded him this year because they knew they were going nowhere thanks to the injuries. If they can get him back, and get their players off the DL next year, it will be a huge plus for them, as they got value for what would be a short-term loan to the Brewers.

  11. I would say the Yankees.  In the past few years they have tried to stop the cash cow spending, but obviously for this team they need a marquee pitcher.  Pettite and Mussina wont be around forever.  This team needs a true #1 starter and I have not seen that potential so far, epecially healthwise, out of any of the new young arms.

So I think Hank will tell Brian Cashman, if he is still around after this year, to go get CC.  I just hope his arm doesn't fall off after this half of a season in Milwaukee.

  12. No offense, but why would he stay in Milwaukee? It doesn't take a genius to see that the Brewers cannot afford to keep that team together for very long. He would end up like A-Rod in Texas: one player consuming so much salary that they can't put a good team around him.

So...that leaves: the LA teams, the Chicago teams, the NY teams and Boston. Maybe Philly and St. Louis. I'm sure he'll be looking for a long-term deal that will be out of range for most medium-to-small market teams.

  13. as for Sabathia saying he hopes he can stay in Milwaukee, let me be the first to tell you that he said the same thing when he was still in Cleveland. I say he winds up with the Angels. He is a California boy.

  14. no brewers don't have enough $ to keep him

  15. He'll stay in the NL because he's openly said he likes to hit, and he obviously hasn't had any problems adjusting to a new league and new batters.  He's from the Bay Area so I would say he'd like to go to the Giants but they're tied down by Zito's contract and don't really need another arm.  The Dodgers could be a spot for him, I'm sure the Brewers will try to keep him over Ben Sheets now too the way both have pitched here down the stretch.

  16. You know, it REALLY pisses me off when people say we can't afford CC, because that's just not true.  We can afford CC, and more.  In case people haven't noticed, Sabathia loves it in Milwaukee, and he said he wants to go somewhere where he can raise his kids, which Wisconsin is a good place for.  Is Boston a good place to raise kids?  No.  Is California a good place to raise kids?  Kind of.  Is New York a good place?  DEFINITELY not.

  17. He's going to be a very rich pitcher in a very big market and that ain't Milwaukee. Take your pick, NY, Boston, LA

  18. I heard the brewers dont have the money to re-sign him and we all know that the yankees mets and red sox do sooo who knows but i hope he stays a brewer since he is obviously comfortable there and doesnt have to deal with the pressures that playing for the mets and yankees brings

  19. Yes He'll be a Milwaukee Brewer.

  20. he will hopefully stay a yankee that means he like it there.  he said on pti on live conversation that if the team lets him stay he will.
