Where will Obama get 15 billion a year for research?

I asked this one time and Y/A deleted it claiming

it wasn't a question. I'm thinking Y/A is in the tank for Obama and is just trying to shut me up. What do you all think?

Well, since the US is currently spending almost that much every month on the war in Iraq, once Obama ends that fiasco he'll have plenty of money to research energy alternatives.  When the US applies its considerable wealth and creative energy to a project, amazing things happen.  The US created the atomic bomb in four years, starting in 1941, even though the Germans were ahead.  The US also went from having no space program to speak of in 1961 to putting a man on the moon eight years later.  If the US put that kind of money and intellect into the problem of alternative energy, they wouldn't have to depend on foreign oil, or perhaps not on oil at all.

I think you could find $15 billion for research just by redirecting enough funds to pay for 60 days in Iraq.

Higher taxes. Thats what socialists use to fund their programs.

He wont be pulling out of Iraq like he says. That would be just too stupid and he knows it. He also knows that his 'people' believe everything he says so he makes a lot of promises he knows he'll never be able to keep.

He just wants to be elected like any other politician.
