I agree with whoever said he was the most underrated Devil's player for years. I think it was Stan Fischler.

  1. As a Devils fan I too hate to see Sarge go!!! if you read any of the articles Lou was really in a tough spot but needed to free that space up, and as much as I like him 16 points don't cut it in the Big Show.We drafted him he played alot of great games for us even won 3 cups there. Over the last few years he was sent down to the minors a few times and somehow lost his game.

I wish him the best and hope he shines where ever he goes. Hopefully he will find a promising new home. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to the Rags or Isles

  2. Well it pains me so much to see Brylin walk, but I think his spot in the line up can be better filled....i always liked him, but we need more offense now....I do think he was the most underrated devil as well (even if Stan Fischler said it because I HATE HIM), but i think this was the time to let him go if ever...with that said I would not mind him coming back if we have the room becuase he is a solid player that gives his all game in and game out, just not with an offensive punch....

I haven't heard even a peep of where he will go, but whoever gets him will be lucky to have such a hard working player with such a good attitude...I would have loved to see him reunited with Holik and Rolston, but it was his time.....

  3. I hate that the Devils didnt resign him. Even though he had a bad season (like most the Devils) he was a great player. Him with Rolston and Holik would have been good. He may go to Islanders or Maybe a team that needs more Veteran presence, Coloumbus, maybe even to Coyotoies. Where ever he goes i wish him luck, wish we resign him.

  4. I was so pissed that they didn't sign Brylin.  And they're paying SALVADOR, who had like 12 points last season, $2.9 mil.  With that kinda money, the Devils could've signed BOTH of them.  They seriously overpaid Salvador, and didn't sign Brylin.  I dunno where he's gonna go.  Hopefully the Devils can sign him, or he retires.  I can't stand to see him go somewhere else when he's been on the team his entire career, and along with Brodeur, won all three cups with the team.

  5. If he is not resigning, I'd say somebody like Nashville or Columbus could use him.  However, there are a lot of teams that have cap rooma and could stand to improve their offense.
