Where will Texieria end up after this season?

Los Angeles clearly can't afford to bring him back next season, and his asking price will be huge: Scott Boras client, gold glover, switch hitter, power/average hitter, in his prime.

I hope the Giants make a push for him personally.

  1. Orioles maybe? Yankees if it becomes a bidding war.

  2. who knows

  3. If he wins a ring with the Angels, he will be back next year. If not, he's gone.

  4. Angels have the Money ,But will they spend it?

  5. If the angels dont sign him next year, i could see him going to the yankees. They get rid of giambi which would be a fair trade, they dump pavanos huge salary, and maybe pettite or mussina, i dont know if the yanks will keep both. But this would leave a lot of room to sign someone like texieria.

  6. I am hoping that he will be Manny's replacement in Boston.  It would basically be a salary swap, so they can afford it.  They would have to move players around, but Youkilis could play third or possibly left.  They could make it work.

  7. I think he will end up in one of two places if he wants to get paid he will be a yankee.  The other option is he goes home to baltimore.

  8. a few teams might want him

angles yankees baltimore mets and he said himself he loved atlanta and would love to be there longterm

  9. the angels always have the money but never choose to spend it...they might this time considering that they had to get rid of their future at the position in casey kotchman to acquire teixeira

as a yankee fan i know the yanks are going to make a huge push for him...giambi is a free agent and is probably done in pinstripes even after a season like the one he's having because of his age, can't you just see hank steinbrenner chasing down the most prized free agent on the market after his team(most likely) misses the playoffs?

  10. his asking price will probally not be so high since he knows that he have a very good chance winning a ring with the angels.if he was in a bad team then he will ask for alot

  11. My guess is the Angels will make an offer, but it will come down to a bidding war between the two New York clubs.
