  1. I think the future is extremely bright for people as long as we can get through this current time.  We're hitting a huge historical time in human history right now that's polarizing a lot of people.  But when we make it through this, the future should be bright.  People are getting more aware of themselves and the world they live in.  People are going to live a whole lot longer.  About 150 years.  The standards of living are going to get a whole lot higher which will make people happier.  The world is going to get very small in a couple decades.  I definitely have high hopes.  I wish I could be here in 100 years because it's going to be pretty awesome.

  2. In 100 years, we will probably have already reached the posthuman stage. My bet would be that one, we will probably reach a posthuman stage at some point, and two, that if so the transition point is highly likely to fall between roughly 2030 and 2100 CE. We really have no good way of predicting what will happen after the posthuman stage is reached, because advancement in all currently existing fields of science, as well as possibly in new fields we haven't even thought of yet, will progress at an extremely high rate. It is entirely possible that the sum total of all technological progress humans have ever made is less than the amount of progress that will occur EVERY SINGLE SECOND 100 years from now. This kind of difference in scale makes it hard to really quantify how far ahead we'll be at such distant points of time in the future.

  3. Dead, dead, dead. Technology will probably crash like what they predict for computers in 2010. I don't think we'll gonna survive for too long with the economy costs and stuff. And plus the sun will explode in 4 billion more years, (since its a star) so earth will be destined to be long gone.
