  1. there got heaps of g*y men in the team so i am guessing there stuffed.

  2. umm, it depends on injuries but st.kilda will definitely be in the top 8. Go St.Kilda!!!!

  3. I agree with a few others here and would say around 4th.  Unless they are cursed like previous pre season cup winners and end up around the bottom!

  4. If no injury probelms top four.  Be wary of the home ground advantage these days.  The interstate club still have a massive advantage.

  5. "The interstate club still have a massive advantage."

yeah thats a load of c**p. take the crows for example, is it an advantage to be playing away from home every 2 or so weeks? and then theres collingwood, who play so many games in melbourne in a row, then FINALLY go away to Sydney for a week, then come running home to play in melbourne for the next month. its rediculous to say us interstaters have an advantage.

anyway, im sayin theyre gonna finish 8th.

  6. Top 2.

  7. Top 4 definitely. top 2 I hope

  8. I'd say they'll make the Final 8 but not the Top 4.

  9. last

  10. Seventh, they will get their usual swag of injuries.

  11. at the bottom hopfuly:)

  12. I think maybe 5th.

    I agree with cutemum xx

  13. in z bottom 8!!!! just look where all z nab cup winners end up!!! haha i hope they d b in z top 8 but its just physicaly impossible!!!!!!! if they do end up in z top8 then its a miracle!!!

  14. If the injury bug doesn't bite them, top 4.

  15. I'm going 5th!!!

  16. depending on injuries, either first or second.

and I barrack for the bombers

  17. 5th place and by the end of it all i hope they have a premiership under there belt.

    The mighty Saints are BACK

  18. I would like to say at the bottom but as my son plays for Ainslie in the Canberra Competition (and they wear St Kilda jerseys) I will say definitely top 8.

A lot rides on their first game with Sydney - NAB Cup winners don't have a good record in the first round so they will have a lot to prove.

  19. mid table. Probably top 8, between 6-7. The saints have so much size and strength they tend to outmuscle smaller opposition like the crows, bulldogs etc. Its the other bigger teams they struggle with. But if the saints can overcome the smaller teams then theyve got a good chance to make the eight.

  20. I think like Freo they are overrated this year.  Bottom 8, because I can name 8 teams that are more on the way up and seem more of a threat to Geelong's defending their title.

The idea of 1st has to be out of the question though.  They have a nice team but the NAB cup final showed they make far too many errors and use the ball far too ineffectively.  Watch Geelong in the first few rounds and you will see the difference.

  21. If all goes well (no serious injuries or suspensions) then I think they could easily finish top 4. Although winning the NAB Cup they could finish last now :)
