  1. It's unlikely you will see it at all. It's going to be very hard to get a flight to Novosibirsk any time soon.

    About 10,000 other people have asked similar questions the last couple of days.


  2. The solar eclipse begins in Northern Atlantic Canada (Nunavit/Northern Quebec) and moves North-Easterly toward Greenland and the North Pole, then continues in a South-Easterly direction, crossing over the UK and contintenal Europe and then into Asia.

    The total eclipse happens, depending on where you were to watch from, between 5:30 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time Friday.  Totality is not visible from anywhere in the United States, and the partial eclipse, although widely seen in Europe and Asia, will only be visible in the US from extreme northern Maine and the north slope of Alaska.
