  1. There are a lot of good restaurant's in Toronto.  It depends on what you like to eat.  If you are looking for ethnic-Chinese I would say Broadview and Gerrard.  If you are looking for Indian I would say Coxwell and Gerrard.  If you want Japanese I would say Akida in the beaches.  If you are looking for vegetarian I would say Fresh on Queen and Crawford.  They make a great breakfast at Hello Toast at Queen and Leslie.  If your looking for higher end Susur at King and Portland or Ruth's Chris Steak House.

  2. This is a list of the finest Toronto restaurants and maps to get there.

If you are in the City during July 6 -22nd you can take part in Summerlicious where these restaurants offer prix fixe menus.

  3. When you arrive in the Airport, they have lots of tourist guides with all kinds of info (restaurants, hotels, etc) stating the rating of each. It is what I used to help me when I arrived.

  4. Along Front Street in downtown Toronto are lots of unique, trendy and affordable eateries.

Here is a great website to find what you are looking for: http://www.restaurantguidetoronto.com/

  5. The Airport strip on Dixon Road has lots of nice places to eat, Yorkville in Toronto has some nice trendy places, Barbazon or Old Barber house in Mississauga, Olivers in Oakville, The Theater district of Toronto has lots of trendy places.
