I have just bought an M3 (E36) which I am not capable to drive in my old age.

It has 52000 miles and has been lokked after..

I want togive it to my grandson or nephew now and I want to store it in a garage and not drive it... Is there any insurance company that would to a tailered insarance for me or my relatives... seeing as the car is to be put for dry storage and not used it should cost a 27yr old much to insure one.....

  1. If you just Google "classic car insurance", you should find a few specialist companies. Either that or pick up a copy of Practical Classics, they have loads of ads for insurance companies.

Names to look for would be Footman James, Carole Nash, Adrian Flux, Performance Direct.

  2. alfred p, For car insurance the fastest way to get a free quote is do a car policy comparison. Be sure to choose the same coverage amounts, you can get an accurate quote to compare against others. Use the same city/state, auto make and model, mileage and driving history to make sure you get accurate comparison. To get easy auto insurance quotes, go to http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Auto-I... and you can compare all the major auto insurance companies.

  3. TWO co's that specialize in classic cars are HAGGERTY'S and GRUNDY'S you can find them thru mcc.com.

  4. Good experience you might get here.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  5. See this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

But to find a cheap price you should get several quotes, do some legwork till something better will come along.
