Income tax?  Tax tables and schedules are included in the instructions for form 1040 among other places

irs.gov tax tables.

fill out your tax form to take out the standard deductions to arrive at your adjusted gross federal income.   then, look up that number in the tax tables.

did you make any stock trades this past year?  or have any other sort of income or deductible expenses?   if not, you might even be able to fill out the 1040-EZ, which is really straightforward.   but the 1040 itself is also pretty easy.  just take your time and follow the steps.

Just multiply the price by the rate expressed as a decimal.  If the rate is 7.5%, multiply the price by .075
