Where would I get a mask like this?

Don't ask me why I want it or why I need it. The mask is from my favourite movie (Vanilla Sky) and I like collecting novelty items that are connected with the things I like.

Anyway, see this picture http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/797/stvanilla81sg8.jpg ? Where would I be able to buy a mask like this? It's not plastic, it's sort of rubber, like prosthetic or latex or whatever you call it.

So where do you think I can buy a mask like this? And if you're going to say eBay or something, at least tell me what I'm supposed to search for. I already tried several variations of "plain white mask" "rubber mask" etc.

Try looking in the phone book for 'party stores' ... I live in Seattle and we have at least one here that is in the Yellow Pages, plus another that advertises in both the Yellow and the White pages ... you might also want to try art supply stores, since the type of mask is frequently used to make art or as a 'base' for a different mask.

It's a latex mask custom fitted to the actor wearing it. To have one made for yourself would entail finding someone who actually does this sort of work as it is intricate. I have made several latex masks and foreheads for people for their costumes in the past but no longer do this as it does require the person be present for proper fit. One place you might investigate is a theater company. If you live in the Las Vegas area, some of the wardrobe people dabble in making latex masks on the side to supplement their income.
