  1. I've stayed at the Embassy Suites...decent price and location..

if you want cheaper...but no frills, there's the embassy west as well: embassywesthotel.com

Location wise, the cheaper places are in the West and South. If you're doing business outside the downtown area, you'd have better luck booking in those locations.

  2. For great quality and affordability, your best bet is to

stay at one of our finer B & B's.

This one, in particular, in the heart of the city, has excellent

    reviews.

Most hotels that are decent will charge you an arm and a leg, and when they say 'discount', they mean it!

  3. There's http://www.extendedstaydeluxe.com but it's usually about $140/night in the summer.

    http://www.arosahotel.com has kitchens (It's over $2000 for a month)

http://www.albertatbay.com sometimes has good deals (also has kitchens)

    http://www.ottawakiosk.com/ottawa_centra... has more hotels.

www.mintosuitehotel.com is usually priced around $100/night

Most places don't offer extended stay discounts unless you're staying over 30days.

If you don't care whether or not you have a kitchen, there's B&B's in the market where you could probably stay extended (I don't see why they'd have a problem) and they start at about $80/night (www.bywardblueinn.com for example)
