We don't mind what type of food and up to £50 per head exlc drinks would be o.k. We'd like somewhere with a party atmosphere but not overpowering. Also would be good if you were able to stay in the restaurant until midnight to see in the new year.

  1. There's not much in Wimbledon to choose from for what you're looking for, perhaps, Tapenco's - a tapas place underneath the Odeon, the food and service is pretty good and it is usually a good crowd in there, there's also Jim Thompsons, a bit further down the broadway, can get really loud/crowded in the bar area though... or up the hill to Wimbledon Village, The Fire Stables, Church Road, has really good food, but atmosphere may be a bit more subdued than what you're looking for

  2. New Year Eve... hmmmmm Wimbledon isn't the most exotic on food but there is Pizza Express? There's also a Spanish Tapas restaurant that looks quite lavish and happening just under the Odeon.

  3. Picnic on the tennis court.

  4. def the grey hound track, good food, bets put on on the table u dont even have to get up.love it.

  5. You could try the il comino burlington road new malden we usualy spend about £35.00 per head incl wine coffee and liquers for a 3 course meal Booking a must its italian/english food.

  6. I'm not sure about whether you'd be able to stay in there til midnight but one great place in Wimbledon (opposite the theatre) is Nando's. It's a peri peri chicken restaurant. You can choose how the chicken is presented. The spice of the chicken. The sides you get etc. And it has good prices too. Something to think about anyway!
