Go to a Sandals resort they are all inclusive and for couples only with plenty of activities.

Somewhere local would be nice...like it really depends where you live and what your two personalities are like. Maybe to the mountains if you guys live near the mountains or a weekend at the beach if you're closer to the coast. You dont want to be too far from home for incase something happens and you guys get in an arguement because this would be your first vacation together and you two spending a lot of time together alone.

Depends on what your interests are.  Most people posting will say something exotic.  If your looking for exotic go to Hawaii, Cancun, or on a cruise in the Carribean.  If you like outdoors (hiking/biking) go to resorts in Mountain towns either in the Poconnos of Pennsylvania or Bryce Canyon, Utah.  Just have fun and do something you enjoy.  You can make anywhere Romantic as long as you put forth the effort.
