The Don Cuco chains in Burbank / Glendale...

The 94th aero squadron/the oddyssey are choices too...owned by the same company.

I don't know if the Hyatt Long Beach is affordable, but its nice...they have an excellent buffet you might wanna check out.

EDIT:  The Proud Bird mentioned above is owned by the 94th Aero Squadron and Odyssey chain.  It really depends on where you live.  Proud Bird in in LAX area, 94th Aero Squadron is in Van Nuys, and the Odyssey is in Granada Hills.

The Proud Bird offers a champagne brunch for Mother's Day.

I know the Marie Callendar Grill offers brunch every Sunday so I'm sure they're doing it for Mother's Day. There's one in the Culver City Howard Hughes Center.

In Pasadena there is a restaurant called Twin Palms...there will be live music and their Mother's Day brunch is absolutely amazing and pretty affordable.
