Where would be the best place to buy an old golf buggy?

I am thinking about buying an old golf buggy and suping it up. However on ebay they range from around £500 - £3,000 and i am looking for a budget of £300 or less. My friend said he got one at a golf course for around £150. Anyone have any idea's where i could get one and for how much?
