Where would it hurt the least to get a tattoo?

I would just like to know where on my body would it hurt the least to get a tattoo? All I want for my first time is to get the word "Baby" somewhere.

You need to understand that everybody's bodies are not the same. Everyone reacts differently to pain. One tattoo could not be any pain for a person and for the next person be the worst tattoo they ever got.

But most people would agree that the upper arm would be the least painful spot.

i have a tattoo below my belly button slightly to the side.. and i honestly laughed while getting it as i have the tickles and it tickled me more than hurt, im going to get it covered up soon so thats how not sore it was..

anywhere with more bone is not painful

if its on any boney parts you will feel a pain through the bone.. xoxox

wherever there is the most fat, but it's going to hurt regardless. it's a tattoo- it's supposed to hurt.

Wherever you have the most fat and thickest skin, just don't get it on top of your feet and you should be ok. If you're afraid of it hurting, take a couple of tylenol  before hand.

i got one on the back of my neck that didnt hurt at all

it's going to hurt no matter where you get it done on your body

it depends on the person how much they feel it

one person can say the ankle is the most painful, someone else will say it's not

and so it will go with all parts of your body

pain is all part of getting a tattoo. if

you are trying to find the gentlest/least painful location pain wise draw it on your body with a sharpee bcse you aren't ready for a tattoo

I have heard your arms is least painfull... I have one on my lower back and it didnt hurt at all!! Tho i had a few jack daniels and red bull too lessen the blow :) :)

Of course i am not condoning drinking beforehand :S

Get it the place you want it most, not the place it will hurt slightly less. Pain is temporary, but a tattoo will be with you for the rest of your life, so it's better to get it where you actually want it.

The pain of a tattoo is part of the deal in getting one. Some places on the body are known to be more painful such as over the ribs but everyone has their own opinion of pain. I have had tattoos that people told me were going to hurt so bad and I took a nap through them...other times I got tattoos that I wasn't expecting to hurt at all and I found myself on the verge of tears. There is no way anyone on here can tell you what a tattoo will feel like for you. The only way to know is to have one done.

dont worry about the hurt... I tell eevryone who comes in my shop to get a tattoo that they should get it where they want it most, and not worry, there are MILLIONS of people who have all kinds of tattoos anywhere... youll be fine... trust me, its not as bad as you think.

make sure you go to a clean, reputable, legal tattoo studio for your work.
