I'm going to go to Ireland at some time in my life (hopefully soon). I love the culture and environment there. I've always been facinated with all the fairy lore and stuff. I want to cover ALL of it. Where would you locals suggest I look for along my way?

  1. Fairy lore and stuff ... well we do have g*y bars.

But you are looking for stone circles and the like ... just contact Bord Failte, the Irish Tourist Board.

  2. I would suggest Glendalough in County Wicklow, its about an hours drive south from Dublin and besides from there being a beautiful monastery/round tower and the beautiful lakes and Mountains,(google it),  there is a fairy-ring trail along one of the walks.

Im afraid thats the only area that has a connection with 'fairy-lore' that I know about as my family originally came from that area but I'm sure other people may have other suggestions.

  3. Watch out for those Leprechauns !!! !!! If your lucky you mite find the pot of gold under the rainbow !!! :P :)

Only Joking !!  Hope you love the weather too!! You mite need and umbrella one day and a snow sleigh the next :( Not very impressive i must say. But make sure you visit the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare (Breath taking !!) There are plenty of place to visit, Good Luck and I wish you a happy holiday.. I hope the weather will be good for ya x x

  4. Come to Cork and kiss the Blarney stone.  Begorra.
