We're flying from VA to CA in October. We have a layover in Vegas, but that's besides the point. I'm wondering where other people think the best place for kids to sit on a plane? The only thing I'm worried about is that my son is at the stage where he HATES to be confined or made to sit. So I'm thinking the very back of the plane or right near the galley or bathrooms. What do you guys think? Now, I know that he's not going to be able to just walk around the airplane, so please don't tell me that. What is your opinion? I ask because we're flying Southwest so they don't assign seats, but they will allow me to be one of the first to board because we'll need extra time. Thanks!

  1. Traveling with kids can be a fun time. After purchasing your tickets call the airline and tell them you are traveling with kids and they will put you at the very front of the plane where you wont be sitting behind anyone.

  2. yea i think the back of the plane is a good idea because its more likely to be away from everybody and if he starts screaming or starts to run around or do anything its more likely not to bother more people

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  4. sit as close to the front as you can you'll be first on and first off and if you get the first seats you won't have to worry about the kids accidentally kicking the seat infront. don't worrya bout the bathroom part -- if its not near your seat (and there are bathroom in front and back usually) it'll give the kids the opportunity to stretch their legs
