Where would the fuse box be?

I need to find out where the fuse box for a 1992 Chevy Beretta would be, and how would you be able to tell if one of them was bad?

There are two of them, the main one is just under the dash on the drivers side and the other is under the hood on the felt side and it will look like a black plastic box and the fuses will be inside the cover. To tell if they are bad by looking at the fuse you will see a metal contact running from each side of the fuse if it is burnt or broken then it is bad.

On most cars the fuse box is under your dash under a little panel, usually on the drivers side towards the floor. to tell if a fuse is bad pull it out and look at the center wire inside the fuse and see if it's burnt or melted in the middle.
