Where would you celebrate your 30th birthday in Sydney?

I will have a group of about 20, and would like a party atmosphere. I am thinking something like Theran's (the hat restaurnt) at Kings Cross. Is there anything similar that you can suggest for me?

i would go to  seafood restaurant on the rocks they are all good . for something special why not find a band or park rotunda and then find a restaurant that supplies gourmet food baskets and have tea in the park. if at night use candles and  fold up chairs[each bring their own].  check your local bylaws for alcohol consumption in public places.  make your own hats and have candles and bright table cloths to match your party mood. Lowenbrau Keller - The Rocks, German food. Got to try the1L beer too and party after your dinner.

Plenty of restaurants at King St Wharf area. After that you can hang around there for different type of party environment. Just make sure you start looking for a place to hang out just before it gets too busy.

NOt sure what it is called but when i went a few years ago there was a great restaurant on a bout in the harbour great for big groups of people.

Darling Harbour.

Or on sydney harbour where all the restaurants are.

i loved those places up there.

hire a cruise ship around the harbour.

they hold up to 100.

they have lights, darkness and music and food, plus you cant get in trouble off anyone for being loud, coz no ones around.

what more is there to a party
