Where would you go for a late summer/ early autumn holiday?

i cant decide between kos or southern spain or one of the canary or balaeric islands. out of all those places which would have the best weather and more people there in mid october?

I think it's the best time in China. You could come here and for you vacation. I'm sure you will enjoy your journey here. Many interesting thing here, hug a panda, make a terracotta warrior... a lots of fun...

I would love to go some place far away if I could, but I'd just save the longer time periods off for that.  So as a late summer or early fall vacation, I'd pick Cape May or other Jersey shore points...mostly because it would be a quick, nearby vacation just before college classes start or on weekends during the semester.  So it wouldn't interfere much.  Also, because I love the local nature, the lighthouses and historic homes in Cape May in particular.
