Where would you go to look up to see if a certain restaurant closed for health issues?

I went to one of my favorite chinese restuarants to only find out that they were not open. I didn't see a sign and there was a truck with a ladder by the door, so I don't know if they are remodeling or got shut down. They do awesome business, because they are a big food chain. Is there a place to find that out? And not just the health score

The county Health department is the most reliable source for this type of information.

Check out the county health department.  In my county, the health department prints the reports in the newspaper....which is great because I know the reports of the restaurants I eat at, though sometimes I don't care what the report says.

Our news always gives us a weekly look at the scores its on thier web site.I am not sure if every town does this or not.YOu can actually look at the link and see what they got marked down for..
