Where would you rank Devin Harris?

Question

Dude has alot of talent and athletic ability. Great young player, but where would you rank him among the top point guards in the NBA? Do you think he could become a future superstar like a Chris Paul or Deron Williams or Steve Nash or Jason Kidd?

Nah. I don't think so. He looks to me like a poor man's Tony Parker. I like his speed, but that's it. He is not a deadly-shooter. Average passing. Not that strong. He does have speed and fearlessness that makes him attack the rim thus, be effective. That's it.

whoa harris is good but not in cp3 or nash's league. give him a few years and then he would be probably at the top. oh yeah and harris is for sure underrated

He's solid, but for a PG he isn't a particularly good passer. He's not a good shooter. He can't guard big guards.

That said, he is quick, is an excellent defender against smaller guards and can get to the rim. And he doesn't make stupid mistakes.

Guards I would rank ahead of him (in no particular order):

CP3

Deron Williams

Nash

Parker

Baron Davis

Billups

Arenas (if you consider him a PG)

Andre Miller

Jose Calderon

Rondo

Mo Williams

Ray Felton

Kirk Hinrich

Felton and Hinrich are definitely debateable, but I would rather have any of the other guys than Devin Harris. Also, Harris is 25 now. He is still young, but it's not like we're talking about a 20 year old with tons of potential. He's probably not that far from his peak right now.

I'd say he's a third tier point guard slightly better than Mike Bibby but not as good as Andre Miller.

Its hard to say if he will become a great PG but he sure does have the potential. Devin Harris is in the 10-15 catergory.

Yes, hes very underrated, Id say top ten in the league, but h**l never be CP3.

devin haris is as tat top contributor said, close to tony parker.

he s fast and good at guarding fast smaller guards.

but he cant gaurd the big guards like chauncey or b diddy.

n he s not a pure point guard like stevie n chris. he s going to be a tony parker without the timmy and manu suporting him.
