Where would you ratehr live?

My mate in school is moving to america from england, to play football/soccer. She has been offered to play in three different places Los Angeles, California or Chicago. Which one is a better and nicer place to live in?

    Anywhere is California is going to be high priced and crowded.  Everything there is almost twice what we pay in the Midwest.  If it's southern CA, it's warm all year 'round.  LA has a lot of smog.

    Chicago, being on Lake Michigan, has really cold and nasty winters.  Summers are ok.  Prices are not as high as CA.  It is definitely "city" with little to no rural areas close.  Lots of shopping and some great museums.  And there's always the lake.

    I wouldn't live in either LA or Chicago.  But that's just me.

    Her income and her weather preferences will help her make a decision.

  5. L.A.... I don't want to choose it, I don't know, I've got a bad feeling about the place XD

    California is good, it has the sun and those stuff any Americans are interested in...

    Chicago has awful summer, and freezing winter.. It reaches 40 celsius in summer and -20 celsius in winter, so obviously not this....

    But my personal ideal place is Europe.. Especially Netherlands or England... Dark, and gloomy... ^^ Lol, no sun means no tan.. I hate tan, I've got a tan already without working for it at the beach.. I'm working to get lighter and whiter skin by not going out for the sun..

    I'm not the only one, a lot of people feel this way! People who are white want tan, and those who have tan since birth want whiter skin... That's human nature, never satisfied and want to be different other than others around them.. Others around me have tan, black hair and dark brown eyes.. That's why I'm demanding blue eyes, blonde hair and white skin!
