if you are looking for a super convenient trip, then I suggest you to go to Japan. But if you are looking for a more adventurous trip, then go to Russia. It would be really neat to see how Russia is growing.

Question is a hard one to answer, because Japan is Japan but Russia stretches from Baltic Sea in the west till Japan in the east, from almost north pole in the North, till Black Sea in  the south. There are thousnads of locations where you will want to go in Russia. There is nature tourism, historic tourism, modern cities, sunny beaches, snowy mountains and deep forests. In Russia you can find anything you wannt.

Kuril Islands! I speak 日本語　and    ÃƒÂÃ‚¿ÃÂ¾-Русски and the two countries are currently fighting (not physically) over who those islands belong to - so I would go there.

I've been to Japan so I would go to Russia. They are going through a boom right now so there is so much to do these days there.
