Where would you rather.....?

Question

be stationed at Ft. Knox or Ft. Benning?

Why?

(my husband has orders for drill sgt. and those are the places we're most likely to be sent)

first what is his MOS...if he not Infantry (Benning) or Armor (Knox)..I'd choose Benning just the same.

Ft. Knox.  That part of Kentucky is a very nice area, good weather, nice folks.  Ft. Benning is in a swamp, basically.

i've been to both places, but personally find that there's more to do around Ft.Benning.

you're alot closer to alot of things in GA. The beaches, FL and all of it's attractions.. etc.

Base facilities? I'd say they're both pretty equal.

I guess it depends what climate you are used to.....Benning sure gets humid and miserable in the summer!
