I'm getting married, and want to have delicious pastries in addition to the traditional wedding cake. Anyone know of a great place?

  2. I do not know where you are in the city, but there are bakeries in the south suburbs, and possibl in the city called Calumet Bakery.  They are very good, so I would suggest possibly checking with them to see if there are any near you.  You can also ask your caterer (unless they are doing the cake too... you don't want to step on any toes) or the coordinator of your hall.  They might have suggestions.  If nothing else pull out the phone book, and go pastry store hopping... you might stumble upon something really good that is not very well known, or new.  It's worth a try.
