  1. the nearest aviary

  2. Your Welcome to come to My own back Yard. You can sit on my swing with iris's and Peonies and other flowers that are starting to bloom and enjoy the Echo's of Our Beautiful Friends!

  3. Anyplace on either one of our farms (Idaho, or Washington).

There never is a time, or season of the year, when you are not able to hear some sort of bird.

During the day here we have the endless singing of the songbirds (many varrieties), and the cheeps of their young, as they carry food back to the nests.  Mixed in, theres the gentle cooing of the Mourning Doves.

At night we have the quiet hoo-hooing of owls, and a few songbirds who seem to stay awake all night long.

The only time all the birds go COMPLETELY silent, all at once, is when a falcon swoops in, and grabs one of the songbirds.  The birds make no noise, as long as the falcon is here.

One of the fun bird calls you hear is the call of male ringneck pheasants.  It sounds a bit like two rusty bits of metal being rubbed together.

Or on the farm in Washington you can hear the VERY prehistoric squak of a Blue Heron.
