  1. I would choose an Alaskan cruise because two years before my father died, he and my mother went on one.

I have photographs of them on their trip, was told about the many people they met, the camaraderie of "ship mates", and the splendor of the scenery; but, to experience all this through my own eyes, and know that I may walk a few steps with my father would be the ultimate joy for me.

  2. i would go to back to st. thomas.  it looks so pretty from the ship.  when you think of an island, you think it would be flat.  st. thomas has mountains with houses set back in them.  it will be some of the most beautiful pictures will ever have the opportunity to take.  megan's bay is also one of the most beautiful beaches you could ever go to.  there is also lots of shopping to do there.  where ever you decide to go, have fun!!!

  3. Mediterranean.  My first and most memorable cruise.  We started at Istanbul Turkey, then we went to Ephesus (Turkey), Kusadasi (Turkey), Florence (Italy), Capri (Italy), Venice (Italy), Athens (Greece), Nice/Cannes (France), Monaco, and finally Barcelona (Spain).  We took the Grand Princess (the biggest ship at that time).  It was perfect, we got to see different parts of the Mediterranean, from the ancients like Ephesus, to the classics like Leaning Tower of Pisa and the ruins in Athens to something more modern like Cannes and Barcelona (for shopping too).  2 days at sea was perfect too cause it's enough to enjoy the facilities on board, but it's not that long that it became boring.

  4. THE BEST IS: MEDITERANIAN SEA

THE SEA IS SO CALM, DOESN'T MAKE YOU SICK

VISITING BEAUTIFULL MEDITERANIAN COUNTRIES WHILE CRUISING. OHHH I MISS IT!!!

  5. alaska

  6. Depends on your budget, the time of year, what type of climate you're looking for and what you'd like to see and do while on the cruise.

Big budget - French Polynesia on the Regent "Paul Gauguin"

Middle budget - The Med on Oceania (any ship)

Low budget - The Caribbean on Royal Caribbean (any ship)

  7. During winter to the Caribbean. In summer to Alaska

  8. id like to go to the bahamas.

  9. It depends where you live and what you could aford.

Possibly a more important question which cruise line and which ship would you pick. They are NOT all the same. Different lines appeal to different tastes and age groups.

  10. i went to progreso and cozumel it was awsome

  11. We took our first cruise to Cozumel and Progresso, It was a Carnival Cruise that left out of Galveston Texas. The reason we chose that cruise was becasue it was a 5 day. It was pretty inexpensive, and we wanted to make sure we were going to like it. We loved it!!!! We have already booked our next one, except this time we are going to Hawaii!

  12. French Polynesia

  13. Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea and Adriatic Sea.

  14. My husband and I went to a 5-island Hawaiian cruise.  It's good if you plan to do nothing and eat all day.  The worst part of the trip was that we were sea-sick.  I threw up everything I ate for a couple days everytime the ship moved.

  15. Hawaii. Haven't been therebut it's always been an ambition.

  16. I took my first cruise to Alaska on NCL's Norwegian Star.  I would suggest Alaska for a first time cruise because it really leaves a good impression.  In my experience crusing, NCL is the best so I would definantly book with them.  But, on the way to your first port, you have everything you can think of to do on the ship.  You can literally never be bored.  But Alaska is definantly a good cruise because you see whales, huge glaciers, and you get to experience something that is unknown to most people.  The shops and towns are so much fun and if you buy an onland excursion, you can dogsled across a glacier, take a helicopter ride to a glacier, whale watch, take a train through the Klondike, etc.  The options are endless.
