I'm a Gr. 12 homeschool student, and I have never been a loner. I have a large circle of friends some social groups I attend and my church. It rocks!

Define "loner"?

Many people think they have to have a lot of people they can "hang out" with to have friends.

Friendships develop over time, sometimes years, and you get to know the person very well.

Today most kids have a lot of acquaintances, but are lucky to know each others last name, or where they live; they will however know each others cell phone number, or computer call name.

I was not a loner in the true sense, just very discerning in who I became close friends with, and those of us who developed these friendships still keep in contact today even though our lives took very different directions.

I am still that picky today when it comes to close friends, and feel very fortunate to be blessed by them.

Nope. I went to a small school so it wasn't easy to just be a loner. But you knew that already. Hehe

Yes and No. I changed schools three times, at one school i didnt get along with many people and didnt make many friends, and then i moved and was forced to change schools where i met new people and had lots of friends with the same interests.. it just depends what school you go to and what circumstances your in when it comes to friends.. you dont get along with everyone but just because you dont get along with people in your school doesnt mean there is anything wrong with you..

For the most part. I enjoyed doing my school work and really loved school and most of the kids could care less. I had a few friends in my Junior and Senior years, but we mostly hung out on the weekends. I would rather be by myself.

Yes, but it never really bothered me.

Kind of. I had a few friends I hung out with but I definitely wasn't a huge social butterfly--didn't do the partying thing so spent most weekends doing my own thing at home.

nope im a home schooler but i actually have a lot of friends at school really good ones too i miss them lol
