  1. It depends what you are looking for.

There's quite a few small houses in the city centre itself, one or possible two bedroom houses; not very large - often above shops. You can find them for around £600/month - so if you share with someone it's a not too unreasonable £300/month.

If you're looking for more student-type properties then Oldfield park is definitely the place to look. There are lots of 3-5 bedroomed houses there; it's where most students in the city live. Other than that there are some houses in Newbridge and along the upper and lower Bristol roads. Newbridge and parts of Oldfield park are a little distant from the city centre, but there are frequent busses and they're just about in walking distance.

As far as where to stay away from is concerned - Twerton has a reputation for being a bit rough; but it's nowhere near as bad as Whiteway. London Road also apparently has a reputation; though I only really know the areas on the west side of the city.

If you have loads of money and don't want to live in the city centre then Fairfield Park and Widcombe are the places to go for.

  2. The Royal Cresent

  3. "Sink" is not far from bath, which is a good place for sanitation.

You could also think about "toilet", but that place smells as of late.

  4. It depends on how much money you have to spend on property. If money is no object then I would probably head for Widcome. On a budget then I would consider Oldfield Park or East Twerton (not to be confused with Twerton).

If renting then Oldfield Park is where 90% of the rented accommodation is to be found but this is mostly aimed at students.

I live in East Twerton myself.

    Hope this helps.
