Whereabouts in Bodrum to stay?

Im searching for a holiday in Bodrum, but there are so many little towns that i don't know which one would be the best to stay.

Im looking for a place with beautiful beaches and yet be close to shops and restaurants.

it can be Gumbet or Bitez . their beaches are good to swim and sunbath .

Bitez or Gumbet I think.

Don't go to Turgutreis, been there, very boring and too far from the Bodrum City center.

stay in the city centre. there is a small hotel right in the bazaar street. but can be loud at nights its near all the clubs. but has a wonderful view of castle and nice sea and beach.its  bed and breakfast.  

. near the minibuses . u can get to bitez or gumbet in 20 mins.
