Wheres a cheap place to find a pond kit for my slider?

Question

im in toronto ontario .. i have a young slider.. i want to set up a pond for him outside durin the summer.... just wondering 3 things

A) cheapest and easiest place to buy a pond kit (i hear sears has one but couldnt find it)

B) if i were to make one..how would i go about doing so.. im a carpenter so building is my forte

C) what kind of filter would i use for both
