Wheres a good place to go on a date?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 7 years but we don't date much as we're both students and pretty poor.

Is there anywhere you could suggest (in the west midlands, uk area) that's pretty cheap but a nice place to go?

Go to someplace that is like a "shopping mall".

Ususally, the shopping malls have many different shops located at the same place, like restaurant, cafe, movie theater, clothing shops, etc.

So once go in there, it is a good place to walk for a long time, and lots of things to see together. Also it is a good social place.

if you like chinese food,i would suggest the wing wah at the hen and chickens on the wolverhampton road,oldbury.there is also another one in nechells.you can have a buffet,pretty cheap in the week,prices go up at the weekend.good food and drink and you can eat as much as you like.

a lot of the pubs now put on carveries,most are ok and pretty cheap.

I would definitely try a local diner in the area,they seem to be very inexpensive .and the food is generally pretty good.
