  1. Tamaki Drive is great.  From Quay street to St Heliers and back is 16k's and it's flat the whole way apart from one small bridge which is hardly anything.  Anyway the good thing about Tamaki drive is you get the fresh sea air and you can run along the beaches if you want a change from the footpath.

  2. As mentioned previously - mission bay is a great place for a run. If you start from anywhere near the central city, Parnell and head toward mission bay itself - you'll be able to run easily for 30-45 minutes before having to turn around - and its all flat and next to the ocean. If you need to stop and stretch - plenty of parks along the way.

Alternatively if you're looking for a challenge - maybe do a hill climb to the top of Mt Eden? Its fairly steep but a great view once you get to the top.

  3. try the main hiway it's usually level in the middle

  4. 1.  The Domain - in the central city (be careful at night!).

    2. Along Tamaki drive, from the city, along the waterfront, to Mission Bay.

    3.  If you're in South Auckland try along the waterfront in Mangere - flat, nicely paved path, goes for ages.

    4.  North Shore - from Milford to Takapuna and along Takapuna beach.  Bit rocky in some places.

  5. I would say along the beached around the North Shore. Not many level places around Auckland. The Mission Bay area is pretty level
