  1. Paris or Barcelona would be a good choice.  Look for late deals on the internet.

  2. If you had been abroad before , I would definitely recommend Paris first then Rome , relatively cheap yes ,cheaper than the UK ,That I don't know but their are plenty good deals from the Internet ,you can book flights and check out the best prices on hotels . The language should not be a problem but if you have never travelled abroad before i would recommend getting flights  the closest to the city you choose and accommodation right in the city centre just for ease of travel .  A weekend may not be a lot of time to find your way around so read up as much as possible on the location you are in  transportation maps etc . Paris has an under ground tube station very much like London and easy to use . Plan as much before you go where when and how , this will save time when you get there , keep a note of where your accommodation is that way if you get lost just ask someone most Europeans know how to speak English , so don't panic.

Have a good weekend what ever you decide.

  3. lastminute.com have plenty of offers so just look around and go on ottbeach.com i think it would be best to go abroad as the weather is so much nicer and there is a lot more to see, i think! You can drive to france or belgium if you like or get the eurostar or fly to places and stay in hostels(they aren't as bad as they sound, trust me!!)

  4. There is nowhere on Earth more romantic than the city of Love - Paris.

Take the Eurostar from St. Pancras and you'll be in Paris in about 2.15 hours.

By the way, if you are even just dreaming of a holiday in Europe, grab you Euros now - they are not getting any cheaper.  In fact the price is going up as the useless UK pounds slumps ever lower in value.

    Last year 1.60 euros = £1

    This year 1.25 euros = £1

You'll love Paris and you'll love Montmartre - it's the red light district - dead safe with lots of romantic cafes and places to be - restaurants/cafes stay open until about 1am every night including Sundays.

In some ways, Paris has not changed all that much - here's Jacques Tati - Mon Oncle

Have a great trip wherever you choose to go. . . . .Remember, only Paris has the Eiffel Tower.

  5. Hey...

Well since u'r planning to go for this week-end during summer then u should definately go to Barcelona coz cities like Rome or Paris are quite empty in summer (so u wouldn't "live" them too well,u wouldn't enjoy them) thing that -in my opinion- makes them look sad (i live in rome and i know how it's like in summer:just hot&humid and i visited Paris in summer....and it's almost like Rome, but less hot), Barcelona, instead is near the seaside -so that u can also sunbath etc- and has loadsa nightlife (thing that rome hasn't that much coz clubs etc "literally "move" to Roman seaside clubs....dunno about Paris but i guess it's not the way it would be in winter-autumn)....

Yes,the UK is rrrrrreally expensive.....i think u should totally try with Barcelona: it's cheap (waaaaaaay cheaper than rome or paris) and lovely....

    hope i helped,

    tc!

  6. I love rome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I think Malta is one of the best places to try and enjoy.

  8. Greatlatedeals, or global late deals, or icelolly.com, it would probably be cheaper to go for a whole week abroad than a weekend in the UK.

Try BMi Baby or ryanair for cheap flights and then search for rooms via google earth.
