You can take her to "Mercado Central", which is a market with mini restaurants in it. It is located on East Lake St.

Unfortunately, I lived in the midwest for 10 years in Wisconsin and Illinois, and NEVER found Mexican as good as on the west coast. But you know what girls dig? Cook dinner for her!
