  1. Tasmania"

  2. the desert

    no pollution there

  3. The Australian Antarctic Territory is probably the clearest, but if you're looking for somewhere you can live, try one of the more remote islands like Lord Howe or Norfolk Island or maybe King Island in Bass Strait. Tasmania is the next best bet, and then you would be looking at the Tanami and Simpson Deserts.

  4. Would have to be Tassie.

  5. The CSIRO has an atmospheric monitoring station set up on Cape Grim on the north west tip of Tasmania. They set that up as it was far from most major sources of pollution, and also because the prevailing winds have travelled for thousands of kilometres over the open expanses of the Southern Ocean.

  6. I have read one spot in Tasmania has the best air quality in the world. Something to do with how the winds blow around the globe.

  7. Tasmania or in the the outback, although it would be very dusty there so I say tasmania or far north queensland.

  8. Port macdonnell, sa! =]
