I am interested in Mexico, maybe in Cancun. I am also looking into Jamica. I would like to do an all inclusive so as to be affordable for friends and family, but would like a beautiful venue and classy establishment. There will also be some children in attendance- which i know is not allowed at some establishments. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  1. There are tons of resorts in Jamaica that will include a wedding in their all-inclusive rates.  You can also add extras to suit your needs/tastes.

My personal opinion between Jamaica and Mexico would be Jamaica, because it seemed cleaner there in general.  When you get off the resort/port areas, Mexico just seemed dirty and there were lots of stray dogs running around.

When are you planning your wedding for?  We will be going to Jamaica this summer, staying in Ocho Rios, I can take notes.  :-)

  2. My friend got married at Sandels in Ocho Rios it was very nice at a relly fair price for a 5 day getaway. check them out!

  3. Negril , Jamaica

Very beautiful ! At the Sandals Resort Negril. Also there's a place called Rick's Cafe where you can jump off a cliff and eat at Rick's Cafe , it's really cool. I've seen a wedding there that's why I'm recommending it to you.

    Moon Palace Cancun

    ambiance villas cancun (great price)

My friends got married in Punta Cana and it was beautiful. Jamaica is gorgeous too.    Those are all kid friendly resorts

  5. I have attended destination weddings in both Cancun & Negril ; each was a tremendous experience , so your possible choices are perfect . I am partial to Jamaica in general , Negril in particular . I think the ideal resort for your needs would be Breezes in either Montego Bay or Runaway Bay , with Riu Negril a good alternative . If you email me ( geryy@snapshottravelagency.com ) with the details of this wedding ( departure airport(s) , dates , budget , preferences , possible number of guests , etc . ) I would be happy to go to work FOR you to find the perfect resort for YOU to host your wedding . If you are in the Eastern portion of the USA , Jamaica would be great , if you are West Coast , Cancun or even Cabo San Lucas would be ideal for you ( the flight options are the major concern ) . I have stayed at other Superclubs Resorts in Jamaica ( they are the parent corp. that own the Breezes Resorts ) & visited both Breezes while down there ( I was just in Runaway Bay , Jamaica 10 days ago ) and have sent plenty of clients to their resorts , all have enjoyed their stays , as have those I sent to Riu Negril . I will get you the best deal possible through my suppliers , and give you the personal attention to details with my experience to make sure your wedding is perfect . Best Regards ..... 6. Depending on your budget.  I've been to several destination weddings in Jamaica  - and all have been fantastic.  On the high end you can't go wrong with the Riu hotel/resorts.  Both in Negril and Montego Bay.  More  moderately priced,  Sandals in Negril was also a nice destination wedding, but you will have to make off-site accomodation arrangements for guests b/c this is couples only. I believe they have a sister resort nearby and will shuttle guests to and from the wedding.  A more modestly priced option that was very nice was Pointe Village in Negril.  Very accomodating staff and activities for all age guests.  My travel agent got better prices than I could find online - especially for Point Village.

  7. check this site for negril, jamaica.  she is a very good wedding co-ordinator with over 50 under her belt. and has a personal touch to her work!
