Wheres the best place to buy matches without there heads?

I'm thinking of making a model but cant find anywhere which sells matchsticks without the head. Can anyone tell me where to buy them?

  1. I checked the web and the only craft shops that seem to carry this are ones in the UK.  www.fredaldous.com is one of them.

    Strange how nothing comes up from Michaels or AC Moore.

    If you type "headless matchsticks for crafts" in your keyword box, you will  get a bunch of hits. The only other time consuming thing I would suggest, is to buy a regular box of matches and take a nail clipper and remove the red heads.  That would be a pain.
