I'm not sure, I often ask myself the same question...

But usually the only reliable thing is to ask people you know, but other than that all I can think of is to post your Wii Number on forums... sorry about that.

The best place would be like school and ask your friends.  Plus you could check nintendo forums or youtube.  If a player has a video and you think they are good, send them your code and a set time to play.  In fact, give everyone a set time to play.  I do, and I always have a friend to play with.

Hmm, the best option is just to find an active community of Nintendo gamers.

I personally reccomend NSider2.com - good fanbase, decent activity, and a fun place to be.
