Wheres the best place to go on a honeymoon in the us virgin island?

I need help choosing a place in the virgin island...If you have have expierence of being there that would be helpful! thanks

St. Thomas is good because they have ferries to many other surrounding islands as well. This way if your bored,..which you wouln't be,..but if you are you can go to tortola or st john or anguilla or virgin gorda  and SO many more islands..tons and tons of ferries.

St Croix is a very nice island, a few private resorts there. Easy access to the rest of the virgin islands too.

Each on of the US Virgin Islands offer something different depending on your tastes. St. Croix is a great island for rest and relaxation. It isn't as commercial as St. Thomas so there's plenty of wide open space, very little competition for space on the beach, and lots of historic and ecological sites to visit. If you have a taste for shopping there are some stores available. Don't expect much in terms of nightlife though.

St. Thomas is a bit more exciting. It's the big city of the USVI. There are a wide variety of shops if that's your thing. We also have some great beaches. There are more man-made attractions on St. Thomas like the Coral World Marine Park and the Paradise Point Tramway. As for nightlife you can find something going on almost everyday. You wouldn't want to miss 2-4-Tuesday at the Greenhouse or Ladies Night at Offshore.

St. John is the most ecologically preserved of the USVI because it's mostly National Park. On St. John you can explore the ruins of an old plantation and take a hike on natural and historic trails. The hotels on St. John are kinda pricey but a great vacation is renting space at the Cinnamon Bay or Maho Bay campgrounds. There's also a few inns that are less expensive than the big hotels.

Good question! I just went there on my honeymoon in April so I have some good advice for you!

Stay on St Thomas. Very Touristy, has a good night life, and you can get around easily. There are safari's like taxi's that can take you anywhere on the island, anytime of the day. And they pick off and drop off anywhere. I recommend staying near Redhook...and you HAVE to go to Duffy's! Its in Red Hook, Weds. night ladies drink free Rum punch, its so much fun. Saphhire Resort is my favorite resort on the island. Not neccesarily the best, but the beach is the best on the island. Great snorkling, and near Red Hook. And Sapphire has a beach party every Sunday, with a band, its alot of fun. From 3-7. Drinks, beach and Reggae music.

There is a ferry that takes you to St John...a must... and then you can do the beaches, which are more remote, and romantic! I recommend Cinnamon bay, less people, and more beautiful in my mind then any other beach. Trunk Bay is nice, but that is where the cruise ships take there patrons.

Also Pay attention to the Virgin Island websites that tell you what days what cruise ships will be in. Weds usually have the most, Thurs/Friday the least. Plan your activities accordingly. I recommend doing an Island tour on ST Thomas, that way you see everything and know where you want to go and see in more detail. Paradise Point is beautiful, with great food and drinks. Weds night they have bands that play through sunset. Best view! So romantic.
